My World Today – Dee Why Beach Sydney

Hi dear friends and followers.  Just a little hello I haven’t been feeling up to much writing since having recent spinal surgery.  I have managed a couple of reviews but I’m still not feeling that inspired or motivated.  But I am fortunate to live only 10 minutes drive from Sydney’s stunning Northern Beaches.  Have a quick view of my video I took this morning while having breakfast. I know it’s crazy not feeling inspired when I have the opportunity to see this beautiful ocean every day.  I think we seem to achieve more under pressure and I hope when when I am fully recovered and working again I will regain my love of writing.  Do you have any tips on how to stay motivated?

I have published a review previously of the cafe in the video just in case  you haven’t already seen it.  Click here to read.

Sounds like you are in the right place (mentally and geographically) for healing. One things that motivates me is music. Either listening to music that brings back old memories or exploring new stuff and seeing where it takes me. Sometimes a little dancing in the kitchen while I make my smoothie happens as a result. If you like I’ll make you the virtual version of a mixed tape. XO Harlon

haha I can imagine the dancing in the kitchen and I too often put on music problem is I want to dance like a latin goddess with swivelling hips and this isnt ideal at the moment after spinal surgery so I try not to tempt myself too much! I think its also not helping that I finished my job in December before surgery and I need to find a new job which isnt always easy. You would think with all this time on my hands I would be furiously writing away but I keep struggling with the highs and lows of being in a sort of limbo land. But I do thank the universe I live in a lovely area 🙂
