Hi I’m Wendy and I live in Sydney on the Northern Beaches.  If you have looked at my site, you will already know that I love to travel, food and writing poetry.  Just the simple things in life, truly what most people enjoy.  I’m also a bit romantic and sometimes emotional. I sometimes like to share one of my poems or a beautiful photo I’ve captured during my day.

My blog started as a hobby, then shortly after I started freelance writing. Most of my articles are reviews on cafes, restaurants, bars, entertainment, travel and other unusual activities.  I do feel lucky to enjoy a hobby that is varied and enables me to do some fun things, not only experiencing activities and amazing food, also meeting some interesting people along the way.

I love writing and reading other people’s amazing blogs.  There is so much talent out there. So many people can write fabulous poems, stories and articles.  We can surprise ourselves with what’s hidden within waiting to be expressed. Sometimes the timing just has to be right to allow that creativity to flow.
