Moments of Peace
The little bird sang
Its sweetest pitch
Its heart pulsed with vigour
The feathered breast twitched
So small but so loud
Its song of joy was profound
It strived to be heard
Above all the big birds
And so it did spreading its wings
Taking flight to unknown heights
Proving that no matter how small
Or inconspicuous
Even a small bird
Can make your heart soar
A beautiful moment
A sound so sweet
It made you stop
Your pounding feet
It was at that moment
Your heart did beat
A slower rhythm
Its called peace
Your poem was so beautiful, just like the little bird.

Thank you I quickly wrote it this morning, sometimes poems just fly off your lips!
