He wears a mask of indifference threadbare in gold

Seeking validation of conquests in stories untold

Illusions of grandeur fuel purposeful steps

The goat bells toll at the precipices edge

The ambiguous  trodden path he strides

Through fissures of blood seeping from his eyes

Failures of his, he will never tell

Entrance reserved for him in living hell

Bold explorations of intrigue seduce and bribe

This is true existence of masculine pride

 Soft visions resonating, into a mirage of confusions

Only in darkness will shadows falter these illusions

Yet beauty grazes his eyes like a butterflies kiss

Invisible chains restrain emotions of bliss

Damning streams of salty tears threaten to begin

Veiled beauty unfolds his simmering sin

Pleasure and pain is too much to endure

Evaporating souls pile upon the shore
