In the sunrise of fiery glamour
A new day spreads the light
The night takes a welcome sigh
As the sun burns its radiance so bright
Sparkling silver in reflection
The sullen sea kisses the day
Upon the ocean through the waves
Are twenty dolphins in the bay
Leaping through invisible hoops
A show they do perform
To teach us to be happy
The reason we were born
I look upon these creatures
And now my heart is sore
We think we live forever
One day we wish for more
When my day comes as it will
Your tears will flow a river
But don’t stand at my grave and weep
For this is not where I will sleep
I’ll be the sea breeze in the morning
The sunlight bleaching shells
The waves that pound the beach
The air that blows your curls
The summer storms that cool the day
The rainbow across the bay
When you wake up in the morning light
I’m the swift uplifting rush of air
To remind you to keep up the fight
Forget your problems that eat your soul
Leave them to sleep get out behold
Feel the rain, embrace the shadows
See the beauty soak up the sun
Make the choice embrace your life
As day and night yield another delight
