Walking by the lake
Solitude envelopes me
Morning bird songs fill the air
A symphony of sounds and sights to see
Swans glide in synchronous dance
Cormorants dive fast to catch a meal
Feathered friends embrace the sun to heal
Wings spread wide dry off the night
Natures exquisite design so bright
Butterflies flutter amongst morning dew
Lizards scuttle from birds eye view
Images that ignite the soul with joy
Colours, shapes, shades and lines
An artist’s elements of perfection so fine
Symmetry of balance unites and blends
Ravishing the sensuous mind no end
Beauty awakens the heavy heart
As the day kisses the night goodbye
The earth takes another sigh
