One of my hobbies is walking and I seem to do a lot of that now that I’m getting older.   I’ve also become more interested in history.  To me learning about history is all about seeing and experiencing rather than just reading.  I’ve had several holidays seeing historical houses, villages and monuments  and it really thrills me to also hear interesting stories about them. Recently I was invited to do a  tour called ‘The Sinister Side of Manly’ .  A walking tour with dark stories of murder and mayhem in the early days of Manly , an iconic seaside suburb in Sydney.   Click here to read my review
