Poem by Wendy Norman

In the eye of death let me be strong

Hold your hand and sing you a love song

Your life has been a miracle its true

Time has come to change the journey you do

The body is just a carriage for service

So let it go and don’t be nervous

Enabling you to write another story

Will the next be a path of glory

Or just the beginning of another life

Inside a womb where there is no room

Breath of fresh air when you are out of there

Reborn with wise eyes to see and compare

How your life really could be ahead of thee

Let a child warm your weary soul

Be playful and dance over  the grassy knoll

Close your eyes let your soul do the rest

I am your guide to the whiteness do no resist

It sparkles ahead the gate wide open

The warm embrace of words unspoken

Do not be afraid it is the time

We all must go it will all be fine

See my smile and feel its warmth

Guide you as you wander forth

Remember this moment feel my touch

Know that you were once loved so very much

Farewell sweet love
