We hunger for the nectar

Like honey to the bee

Our soul reaches out

It begs you to see

Colours so bright

Stars sparkling at night

The thrill of a sunset

A bird in flight

Unabashed so bold

You weren’t complete

 Before this sensation

Your cracks now gold

A pure elation
