A Day in Luxembourg

Luxembourg
After touring through England for two weeks seeing relatives and friends, we took a ferry boat straight to Calais in France. Here we picked up our Renault Eurodrive Car and started our 10-week trip drive holiday around Europe. On the way, we had a quick stop in Belgium and Strasbourg before arriving for one night at a friend’s apartment in Luxembourg.
Luxembourg is a beautiful city that has plenty to offer those that enjoy culture, wine and history. There are numerous museums, castles, fortifications, festivals, wine, art and shopping. As we only had a day, we did our own walking tour around the old city and fortifications. If you have more than a day I would suggest buying the Luxembourg card, this gives you free access to 60 museums and attractions and also includes free public transport.

The old city and surrounding fortifications are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Well worth doing your own walk around or booking a walking tour which takes a couple of hours to see the area and the main city.

Love Luxembourg, great photos as usual. Just who is that young girl starring in them though?
