Dawn’s Chorus
Poem by Seafarrwide
Dawn’s chorus shamelessly loud
Darkness disappears from sight
Slivers of morning pierce my skin
Memories of her linger within
The light shining on each silver spoke
As she combed each tendril of her golden cloak
Thick like hay damp from lovers play
She pins up high to make it stay
For me to unwrap cascading loose
Entangling me in her noose
Long wisps reaching her curvaceous hips
Curves I trace with my wanton lips
Soft like the mornings flowers
Wishing back those erotic hours
Fragrant Jasmine lingers on my skin
Inhaling thoughts of our joyous sin
Her aromatic scent she made her own
Never a better aroma I have known
A Kookaburra screeches the day is here
Dreams of her must disappear
