Stolen Innocence

Staring boldly against the blows

Having seen what the devil resembled

A memory she would always know

An innocent girl with curls of gold

Tricked and trapped made a prisoner

There was no escape her body was pinned

She had screamed and begged for help

Her head face down she gasped for air

The devils relentless quest to destroy her

Her dignity crushed her body bled

The thought of death it felt so sure

Daylight turned to the night

How much more could she endure

Then the devil became bored

He knew she was broken

His indulgent game of brutal hell

In shock, she was released

A broken being stumbled home

Unsure how she had survived

Shivering under a steaming shower

She scrubbed her body raw

Watching her blood drain away

Crawling into bed that night

Her heart hard, her skin sickly cold

Her innocence forever stolen
