Cloudland

I have just returned from a weekend in Brisbane, my main purpose was to attend a Hays Writing Workshop and catch up with different friends.   I hadn’t actually stayed in Brisbane for over 20 years and back then my impression was that it was a fairly quiet town; sub standard eateries and watering holes and a bit of trashy glamour here and there.

Well after visiting several bars and restaurants on my first night, I can no longer joke and call it Brisneyland! Click here to read my review on one sensational looking Bar Restaurant with a definite air of louche extravagance.
