Morning Beauty
The morning stole through the early hours
The blue Ocean lay vast and bare
Sun bled through the nimbus clouds
Golden rays caused me to glare
Below my view on rocks at shore
Is a fisherman waiting for more
Inhaling sea and salty fumes
He stoically waits for a bite
The sea tickles and taunts his toes
Swelling white spumes too and throw
I watch my thoughts drift and float
Disintegrating into the breeze
I breathe out a heavy sigh of relief
As muscle tension drains from me
Seagulls screech and hover near
I hear the crickets chirping
Gods chorus of Summer is here
